Zeus is one of the gods encountered in Herc's Adventures. He is the ruler of all the other gods and is considered to be the wisest and most powerful of them.
Story[]
On a peaceful day, Zeus does what he does best: chasing after beautiful mortal girls. But later he notices that something is wrong, as all the trees and plants start dying. He goes to Mount Olympus and sees that his evil brother, Hades, has kidnapped Persephone, the Goddess of Spring, and summoned his enormous armies of skeletons and monsters. Desperate for help, Zeus summons his finest warriors, Atlanta, Hercules and Jason giving them a quest to save all of Ancient Greece from Hades' evil plans.
Personality[]
Zeus is portrayed as a righteous god, opposing the evil Hades. As already mentioned, he is considered to be the most powerful and wisest of the gods, yet it doesn't appear to be true - he is rather weak, because he doesn't do anything to stop Hades. He also hardly helps the Heroes. Another trait that he has is being a ladies' man, he just loves chasing around pretty mortal girls. Overall, even though he is the ruler of the gods, he isn't actually a figure worth looking up to.
Appearance[]
Zeus appears as a strong man with a beard, wearing a white loincloth, two golden bracelets around his wrists and a red headband.
Powers and Abilities[]
Zeus hasn't got many powers: he can appear mostly anywhere with the use of a huge thunderbolt and is the god of lightning because his thunderbolts can be found all around Ancient Greece.

- Ah, good work so far, but you still have a long way to go! Seek out the help of my fellow gods Hera, Poseidon, Athena, and Dionysus. But be careful! Hades has many allies! In fact, there's a couple of hundred of them just ahead, so good luck! Duh, I mean GOOD LUCK!

Trivia[]
- During the game his wristbands are golden, while they are blue during the cutscenes.
- Zeus and Persephone are the only gods that do not give the heroes a key.
